Professional Experience:
Since 2012, I have been in private healing arts practice offering a wide array of modalities such as therapeutic massage, Craniosacral, Reiki, birth and end of life doula services, sound healing, guided meditation, transformational coaching, group healing rituals, and women`s wisdom circles.
During my time at the University of Minnesota, I had the honor of working as an advocate with survivors of trafficking at an emergency shelter which was a deeply impactful experience teaching me how to center the lived experience of those who have endured extensive and complex trauma, in direct services.
I formally entered the mental health field in 2024 doing in-home Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) focusing on skills work supporting folks with significant functional barriers due to their mental health which has given me a wealth of skills and experiences to draw from.
Through these diverse and unique experiences, I have learned the importance of meeting folks where they are at, to stay human in the work and that the therapeutic bonds fostered in the depths of suffering are a transformative and healing balm.
Therapeutic Approach:
I believe that therapy is a multidimensional process rooted in empathy, collaboration, and deep listening.
My work is woven by liberation, feminist, person-centered, trauma informed, and psychodynamic approaches (and more) catering to the clients needs. I often center joy, wholeness, discernment, and a playful approach to healing as I believe that the body+mind+spirit innately knows their way home and together we are stewards of creating the right conditions for that process.
My goal is to create a nonjudgemental, inclusive, and holistic space where clients feel held, seen, and supported as they work toward their personal therapy goals. I believe in helping clients to excavate the keys to personal growth, expand their emotional capacity and actualize their best life.
About Me
In these strange times, I am passionately devoted to transformation and the limitless capacity of the human spirit as a sacred refuge for the soul. I believe that taking time for healing and renewal is an act of self-love, resistance and rebellion which aids us in deconstructing and recovering from the conditionings of a profoundly sick society while also providing a pathway to embodiment, joy and freedom.
My work rests upon the foundation that it is essential to take the impact of western culture (colonization, supremacy and patriarchy) into account as well as each individual’s unique identity inside of these overarching and pervasive power dynamics to implement a truly holistic and intersectional approach to healing – body, mind and spirit.
I believe we can heal the rift in the fabric of humanity together day by day, step by step.
In my free time, I enjoy playing music, spending time with my dog, being in nature and adventuring.
