Welcome! I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience dedicated to helping adolescents, adults, and families navigate life’s challenges. My practice is built on the foundation of creating a space where you feel heard, safe, and validated. Here, you are celebrated for your strengths and successes.

Areas of Expertise:

  • Adolescents
  • Parents of children with high levels of need or intense emotions
  • Individuals experiencing relationship stressors
  • Those navigating life transitions
  • Those with a history of trauma or loud inner critic

Professional Experience:

I have had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including community and in-home environments, outpatient therapy offices, juvenile corrections, and high schools within Special Education programs. My extensive experience allows me to effectively support clients aged 11 and older. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, irritability, anger, ADHD, or PTSD, I am here to help.

Therapeutic Approach:

I am trained in several therapeutic modalities to best fit your unique needs and where you are in your journey, including:

  • Brainspotting
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)
  • Body-centered, trauma-sensitive, and mindfulness-based techniques

I believe that everyone is doing the best they can with the skills, resources, tools, and support available to them. I recognize the profound impact of systemic factors on marginalized communities and am committed to providing a safe and affirming space. By building on your strengths and what is already working well in your life, I guide you toward self-compassion and non-judgment, which are the foundations for effective change.

About Me

I am passionate about Juvenile Justice Reform, Affordable Housing, and Homelessness, having volunteered for several years at an adult emergency shelter in Minneapolis. These experiences have deeply influenced my practice and my commitment to advocating for social justice. My goal is to empower you and instill hope and confidence that you can make meaningful progress in the direction you choose. Together, we will work towards achieving the goals that are most important to you, always honoring your pace and process.

I look forward to accompanying you on your journey to well-being and am dedicated to supporting you every step of the way.
