My areas of expertise include trauma, complex trauma, racial trauma, substance use, anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, grief and loss, attachment and relationship issues. I am trained in Brainspotting, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), basic principles of somatic experiencing, parts work/inner child work and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

Professional Experience:

I have over 10 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, couples and families experiencing mental health and/or substance use symptoms. With a strong background in social work and professional training in business administration, I bring a diverse perspective to my practice. I also have experience integrating more than one therapy modality into therapy sessions which often deepens the healing experience. The communities I have the most experience working with include: BIPOC, ADHD, LGBTQIA+, Disabled Folks, Autistic Folks, Therapists, Medical Professionals and a variety of Helping Professionals.

Therapeutic Approach:

I believe therapy begins with developing a collaborative, therapeutic relationship. I utilize a variety of therapy approaches to meet the individual needs of each person I work with. My goal is to create a supportive, warm, and goal-oriented environment in each session, helping clients achieve their personal and therapeutic goals. My approach is relational and deeply rooted in helping people experience moments of groundedness, clarity and belonging in their lives.

About Me

In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors near water, reading, writing, learning something new and listening to a variety of podcasts. I also enjoy spending quality time with loved ones and my dog, Junie. My special interests include human behavior, neurodiversity and relationships. These activities/interests help me feel grounded and inspired, which are energies I strive to bring into my work with clients.
