Therapeutic Approach:
I am deeply passionate about meeting clients where they are and walking alongside them on their unique healing journeys. I believe that clients are the experts of their own lives, and my role is to provide support and guidance as they pursue their goals. My approach is collaborative, creative, and compassionate, aimed at fostering a nurturing environment where clients feel safe and understood.
Using a holistic framework, I incorporate a variety of techniques to promote the connection of mind, body, and spirit—both within individuals and in their relationships. I emphasize the importance of reflecting on our past, understanding our present, and envisioning our future. By developing family genograms and mapping historical patterns, I believe clients can develop insight to current challenges. This comprehensive insight empowers clients to make informed decisions about their paths forward, increasing their confidence and self-esteem.
About Me
I am a first generation West African who grew up in a blended family with a stigma around mental health. I became a therapist to break the stigma and foster more conversation. It’s time to talk about it!
In my free time, I am a singer/songwriter. I love to make music and sing as a part of a worship team. I enjoy making candles, going to the movies, and rewatching old TV shows while snuggling with my kitty Yoncè.
