Areas of Expertise:

Educational Background:
- MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Co-Occurring Disorders, Adler Graduate School 2024
Professional Experience:
With experience since 2017 that includes acute mental health care within hospital settings and in community mental health at addiction treatment centers, I know the importance of creating a safe and supportive space where healing can unfold. I have experience working with diverse populations, including those dealing with substance use disorders, trauma, anxiety and depression as well as serious and persistent mental illness.
Therapeutic Approach:
As a trauma-informed, person-centered therapist, I believe in meeting my clients where they are with empathy and understanding. My approach integrates motivational interviewing, holistic care, and solution-focused strategies to empower individuals to create meaningful change. I enjoy helping clients explore patterns like people-pleasing, over-explaining, and navigating core beliefs of deficiency. As a compassionate and enthusiastic therapist, I provide knowledgeable support to my clients. My approach is collaborative, non-judgmental, and individualized to each person’s needs.
Social justice is a core value in my practice, and I am deeply committed to advocating for marginalized communities. My time living and volunteering in Bolivia, as well as living in Mexico City, has enriched my understanding of cultural diversity and informed my work with clients from various backgrounds. This experience has fostered my dedication to creating a safe, inclusive space where everyone can explore their unique path to healing.
About Me
When I’m not in the therapy room, you can find me enjoying time with my pup Louie or biking somewhere around the city while listening to my newest favorite podcast.
